Default dash lights 91 LS400

Good Morning to all...I have a problem with my instrument lights, the display does not light up, only the pointers work and as I work at night, its a little scary driving without a speedo etc.(bad enough during the day). I couldnt find a fuse under the dash or under the hood or am I looking in the wrong place??? Please help me see!!! thank you, Stroker
