Over 2 years later...
I haven't been updating this thread as my mods were pretty minimal. The major work has mostly been maintenance and some body repair.
I finally settled (
) with a head/fog/tail light vinyl film combo. I replaced the grill once and painted it at least 3 times.
Of the "mods left" from my original post in 9/07...
"The only mods left are....
1. Eyelids - very soon
2. LS430 Xenon Retrofit
3. 3000K HID foggies
4. Custom Intake
5. Custom Exhaust"
I've added the eyelids, HID foggies and intake. There are still some mods I'd like to do, but they aren't anything that update the car to today's standards. Keep in mind this is a 12 year old car!!
I'm still on the fence with the LS430 retrofit as I like the look of the original headlights, not so much the bug-eyed projector retrofit look. Also, the exhaust is questionable as I really like the comfort of a silent cruiser. However, I am still open to getting some throaty V8 rumble....maybe a butterfly valve for noise control?
My new "mods left" list includes:
1. Retrofit IS300 yellow projectors into foglights - of course without looking too different
2. M3 style rear lip spoiler
3. Figure out exhaust
Don't be surprised if these 3 take me another 2 years
