Replaced Hose, now getting weird lights flashing!
Whilst trying to clean the throttle body I snapped a hose that runs from under the air intake to the top of the engine block via two metal 90 degree nozzles.
I had to wait for a long time for the right hose as the Lexus dealer kept ordering the wrong one. In the meantime i tried to put the hose back together but to no avail. So I ran the car only a few times with the hose snapped and it ran fine.
A week ago the right hose finally came and I replaced it but with a degree of difficulty. I had to remove what is pointed at with the red arrow to get to the hose clamp. I finally got the hose fitted, put the throttle sensor thing with the red arrow and started the car up. Almost instantly the TRAC light on the dash started to flash. After a couple of minutes the engine light came on.
I thought maybe the fact that the air is now being sucked through a hose and not open air, that the resistance is greater and maybe that is why the sensor is not happy. So I disconnected the negative battery terminal and left it overnight in hope of it resetting but it did not help.
Does anyone know what is happening? The car runs fine otherwise but I am pretty sure the TRAC is not. The hose replaced is marked with the light blue:

PLEASE HELP!!!

Well after the flood of responses, but for future refrence I went to a lexus mechanic and it turns out that the unit I pointed to with the red arrow is the TRAC throttle controller and when putting it back on you need to load the spring properly. It is not difficult but the spring needs to be pre tensioned. Cleraed the engine code and all good. Except code 43!!??? Anyone know how to fix that???
