thanks for the motivation vqt
,
in fact i have tuned a motorcycle before but that was with a manual and everything. but for the lexus i'm ready for the challange but i seem to have no guide. i wish someone could direct me to a manual and show me a definitive location (on the web or otherwise) where i can buy authentic parts.
i guess with some more encouragement i'll be sliding under the car and fixing that leak in the cv-boot

ravi11,
The only place that I know you can order the manual isCarson Toyota 1-800-908-6968 ask for Steve Ganz or Gordon. There is another place you can order the manual, it's something like SC400.com, check with the SC400 forum to make sure the name of the site. I heard they can get for a reasonable price too.
Yes, you need to have the manual to do this work. The manual show a lot of step on taking parts out to get to the sparkplugs, that way you don't have to guess on what to take out. You can say I am a text book parts replacer
. If the book doesn't show me how, I can't do it.
Don't know about CV boot. You need a lot more tools help for that.
