yep thats what im trying to do. main reason i suggested these is similar 5 spoke pattern to the work equips i want. and since everyone suggest that my size/offset would need work to fender, i just through out what was at the top of my head with a high offset big lip wheel. but really if i could get those for like 100-200 cheaper than they sell, id buy them (better than stock imo) while i save up for the equips.

but i was planning on just getting the spring/shock combo and riding it like that. im mainly concerned about getting it flush as possible, if it wasnt tucked enough, id just chop off a coil and be done with that tucked problem. whats a good offset to get it very flush? id assume if +25 is too much then maybe around the 30's? if so damn i might as well just go sportsmax (18/19x9.5 +35 all around) wheels now till i can save up some more.
That's because Bilstein doesn't make an application for our cars. Originally Posted by eerrrrr

The only brands for coilovers that might be readily available in the states are the JIC VIP FLT-A2 and maybe Wald. Supposedly Megan Racing has recently developed coilvers, but I'm not sure if they're applicable to our cars. All other brands will have to be imported from Japan.
+25 is not too much for a 10 width wheel for the rear, it's the 11.5 rear width that becomes the factor. FYI, fender mods are mandatory when it comes to VIP.

BTW, your sig needs to be resized to no larger than 450x100.

well thats prolly why i cant find any. damn me. but yeah i guess ill look more into the coilover thing, but my car is really really high looking and is bothering me so i might just settle with spring shocks for now untill i can find a shop/site that has something instock instead of ordering and waiting like 3 weeks for it. i dont think ima go hardcore vip. i just want a nice looking dd. kinda slamed on w/rims. no kit no nothing. maybe lip. so just some rims that will be almost super flush w/ little fender mod.

Coilovers are a must if you're trying to achieve that flush look. I'm not sure if our definition of flush is the same.. but to me it means that the tire is tucked and the lip of the rim is nearly kissing the fender.
Keep in mind that, with 18's and flush fitment the car is going to sit pretty low. I scrape frame and everything else underneath when I get a bit careless.

Good point - I have 18's with springs/struts and it already sits pretty low. My tires tuck but rims are 1.5" or so from the fender (empty weight). For my rim to be "flush" as you say the car may not be driveable for me. I already bottom out on speed bumps, etc. I didn't know that coilovers would give that much drop on an 18 - good info.
