Default Squeaking noises from wheels

It only seems to do this at start-up but if I'm moving at speeds lower the 20 MPH, with my music off, I can hear this ugly squeaking noise comming from the wheels. There are a couple parts that could be a problem, but I just wanted to see if anyone had the same problem and had it corrected.

The brakes need to be changed badly, so I'm thinking that could be part of the problem.

Any help would be great!

you don't want to let the brake sensor rub into the rotor, then you will need to get a new sensor which may be near $100. that could cause a sound while rubbing into the rotor. i also noticed the samething with my car.

I was thinking bearings. I think these cars have to be the hardest on running gear than any car ive ever seen. You gotta rotate the tires every 5,000 miles to keep them from eating up your tires.

i have the same type of problem with my LS coming from the driver's side rear wheel and this is what i did:

1) had both rear rotors turned and swapped sides, problem continued
2) pulled off the entire driver's side parking brake assembly, problem continued
3) trimmed the dust shield portion of the rotor backing plate, problem continued
4) removed the entire caliper/bracket assembly and spun the rotors by hand after i tightened them on using the lugnuts, problem continued

at this point, i was convinced that the wheel bearing was shot. i swapped sides again with the rotors and visually inspected the car running in drive while in the air with the wheels off. i found movement in the pads perpendicular to the face of the suspect rotor. new rotors eliminated that swooshing "whiffle ball" sound.

Had the same noise from my GS when I used more metallic pads so now I'm back to the stock pads and don't notice any more squeak. At one time my pads were worn down to the metal indicator which cut into my rotors so I had to turn those down and replace new pads. Don't let that happen to you cause it could really damage your rotors badly.

I have the same problem with my tires wearing quickly too. I had brand new Yokohoma's and they have extensive camber wear only after 15,000 miles. I will have to replace them soon.
