Alignment
I switched out of my snow tires this Saturday and the mechanic noticed that one of the tires had uneven wear and recommended an alignment. Ran over to the localToyota dealer and had it done. That was an amazing fix as the clunking I was hearing has now disappeared and the ride seems to be a bit smoother.
Only problem was that one of the Toyota mechanics let a large rubber hose drop on my car and dinged it. Fortunately, they were honest enough to point it out and arrange to get it fixed at their cost. Some of these independent mechanics would have undoubted not said anything, so dealers aren't all bad.
The alignment cost me about $ 80, but they'll be net out of pocket by the time they repair the dent.

When I had my starter replaced, the dealer closed the hood on a wiper which was not fully retracted...it got pinched between the cowl and hood. It gouged the paint and to my fortune, the body shop was pretty busy.
The loaner was a newish RX330 with ~1250 miles. By the time it came to return the car some 10 days later, the Mrs. had with it. If we had the budget...she'd have dragged my behind to the dealer to get one. Even now she gently reminds me how nice a car that is.

they messed up the snorkel on my friend LX and not only ordered the new part, the cut like 300+ off his repair bill (under 1000 iirc)

Well, they are gonna provide me a loaner while the car is being fixed, so I figure I'll let the $ 80 slide. Unfortunately, they're getting the loaner from Enterprise. I'll insist on a full size car, but it most certainly will not be a Lexus. I regret this didn't happen at a Lexus dealer.....they might have loaned me the LS 460
