New LS400 soon, any ideas and suggestions??
Hi everyone! I am about a week away from owning my first LS 400. I am excited to say the least. What should I look out for? Does anyone know where to get good bodykits for the LS400? What are good starting mods?
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

Just do a quick search and you'll find lots of information.
Obviously first gen 90-94 have more mods available than second and beyond.
Most folks go with wheels, intake, muffler delete, springs/struts or coilovers.
Just decide what you want to do (suspension, engine, audio, etc.) and then search here. It will save you time and money.
I found some cool body kits on www.memoryfab.com
Welcome and good luck bro.

Thanks man, I like the look of your LS400. I want mine to look sleek and classy with a secret ripping engine underneath. Thanks again for the pointers!

Some of the first gen parts may be in short supply due to age. While Steve at Carson can still probably get a good share, the second gen stuff is still in production, new kits from JOB, Aimgain to list a couple.
First gen adjustable coil-over suspensions will fit the second gen. It won't go the opposite way from second gen to first. Eibach may be in short supply but Tanabe and H&R springs are still readily available.
This site will get you started.

L-Tuned parts is a great site. I bought some things from them and the selection and service was fantastic.
I also bought parts from www.lextasy.com ans there selection and service was also very good.

Thanks Ewen. I have done a lot to my car and spent a few $$$. Take a look at my photo gallery. I have various pics showing the transformation from stock to now.

I'd probably change the wheels out, and also buy some Red/clear tails for it. Looks very clean for a 97 LS, I like it. Those tianted tails may look better if they were a bit lighter, wouldn't you say?

Thanks for all the comments! Thanks Pure Drifter, Ill definitely be hitting you up about parts and advice! I actually like the black tail lights but the rims are awful! They are proper Lexus wheels from what I can tell, they have Lexus labels in the center (well two of them!) but the chrome is peeling and yeah, well, I need new rims!! Any suggestions??? Sizes, brands, places to buy???
Thanks!!!
