I just bought a 'newer' car last Fall, but I dont want to 'me$$' with it R'now. I figured the LS would be a cool VIP project to start on.

I picked it up because it was an original owner car, Dealer serviced, etc. Just needs a good cleaning

very nice.

and be happy u have the cloth option, it wears MUCH better than the leather over time.

seat heaters/air suspension?

is this a DD since ur SC isnt (from my understanding) exceptionally streetable (comfortable)

That's a real nice looking car. I'm amazed that a 17 year old car would look that good. Real quality is what these cars represent.

air suspension was only available with leather according to lexus.com

I wish my car had cloth. Wears better, lasts longer, keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. And its quieter. (no leather squeaks) too bad they stopped offering it in 93.

I've seen cloth on 1st and 2nd gen es300s and 2nd gen gs300s. Apparently it was availble on 1st gens gs300s too but i have yet to see one.

yeah, all of my other cars have leather...cloth is a nice change and seems like its less noisy.

Its nice to start on a new LEXUS project. I dont think there was anything left for me to do in the 'SC World'

Looking forward to meeting new owners and chatting when I can

Hey whats up Em, congrats on the purchase!! Kind of a coincidence, I also picked up a 1990 LS400 a few days ago. I've been wanting to do a VIP project for a long time and I needed a reliable daily driver so I went for it. The one I got is actually the same color as yours. Though I bet your project will be pimped out alot faster than mine. Your LS looks great and it sounds like its been maintained very well. Keep us updated with the build, I know you do some pretty crazy custom work.

HEY YOU!!! How ya been?!?! Im kinda taking it slow with this one. Ive got sum spring cleaning to do. Ive got 4 Lexus cars now and no where to park them.

Im leaning away from the 300 Drift project I had started, so I'll have a few bucks to spend (on the LS)once its finished and sold
