Yeah, all of the relevant (1990-2000) info was available anyway from lexls.com or one of those sites. Sure the LS430 is a great car but MAN is it UGLY...

At a stop signal, I was behind a 400 in one lane and the 430 in the other lane. I have to agree that the 430 seems much less graceful/elegant than the 400. I was trying to describe to my DH and the only word I could think of for the 430 was "humpy".

Actually, I think the 430 is a nice looking car. I bought my LS primarily due to an experience I had test driving an LS 430 while on vacation in Florida. I hadn't been in an LS before and was absolutely shocked by the smoothness of the ride. I never forgot it and bought an LS at the first opportunity. of course, the LS 400 has nice classic elegant lines also, but I think the 430 is generally much more luxurious.
