Hi Guys

Strange thing happened yesterday. I had the aircon on and as I approached a roundabout, I accelerated. The car then lost all power while in Drive. I then fired it up with no problem. Conditions were hot outside. My LS has the perennial leaking powers steering pump and rack issue, is this relevant. Any ideas?

 

sounds like an egr type problem or some sensor trippin something in the ecu.

 

so the car died when it stalled?

 

that's correct, it just died.

 

its the fuel pump, its the fuel pump. i had the exact problem, if have looked at everything else and ti checks out ok then that is what it is.
