Just got a 1992 LS, need a few things though...
Picked up the car for a decent price, need to do some minor maintenance but other than that nothing huge... got some mileage on it but nothing I'm worried about...
I do however have a couple cosmetic things I'd like to take care of...
1. I have 3 chrome rims and 1 painted. I'd love another chrome if someone has one they can spare.
2. The car evidently got a love tap from another vehicle on the passenger rear door, that I can take care of but I need the chrome fender piece for the passenger rear fender.
If anyone can help me out on these 2 things I'd appreciate it.
Word!

I am more central (DSM), wished I could help you out. Good to see some more midwestern folk lol. For a minute I thought you may have been the one that beat me to the LS they had for sale around here, but then I remembered that was a 90'.
Have you tried salvage yards?? they might have a wheel for you. The chrome piece I dont think would cost too much from the dealer, dont hold me on that tho.
Good luck, and congrats on the purchase.
Also if your garage ever gets too crowded, ill do you the favor and take one of those cars off of your hands

a little off topic, but i have a friend that's originally from that area. i've been to towns like mt. vernon, olin, hale, anamosa. anywhere around the wapsi river is pretty scenic, driving around jungle town, i could definitely go for a pizza burger at sutliff's, home of the best pulled pork and potato salad recipes i've ever had

Nice! I'm actually outside of Monticello, just down the road from Anamosa (home of the historic Iowa State Men's Penetentiary!). Not a bad little area. I need to find the name of the road, there's a great road that goes from one tiny town to another that is brand new asphalt and is nothing but 15 miles of 50 MPH S Curves. great sweeping fun. Although on the way to pick up the car on Friday I forgot how cool Hwy 20 from dubuque to galena is. gorgeous when it splits and has the canopy of trees over the road, I'm going down it again as soon as possible.
