I recently saw an elderly guy driving a 1995 LS400 that had two-tone paint. By two-tone, I don't mean a base color with grey lower body cladding. This particular car was almost a totally a greyish-black below the beltline and above the beltline was totally silver. Had like a Rolls-Royce style paint job. It looked REALLY nice on the Lexus and was definitely different from any LS I have ever seen. I was wondering if my car would look good with a similar paint scheme with different colors or should I just leave it the way it is? LOL... I'm just looking for some input. I do like the color it is now (dark green), but I would also like to consider the brighter, almost mint green color used on the 1995-2000 LS400. What do you guys think?

Below are pictures of my car. The body is in excellent shape and the paint still shine, but it's still worn and needs to be freshened with a new paint job at some point.

 

my 98" LS400 got in an accident and it only cost me a few more bucks to get it all pearl white!! i like it alot.... so do al my friends!! think about going all black! i think it makes the car look newer. at least that's what it did to mine.

 

Thanks. Yeah I was also thinking about going with a solid paint scheme as well. But I haven't seen an LS with a mono paint job, so I don't know what it would look like on them. I would like to see some examples if any of the members have gone that route. As far as paint is concerned, my choice it up in the air at the moment, but I hope to get started around the end of summer at least.
