Does anybody know who sells front grills for the 1st gen LS400?I have not found any.

 

I think Xenon has some nice ones.

 

There are none on the Xenon website.

 

call them and ask, those grills might only go with a bodykit.

Most of the grille mods I've scene are just simple paint jobs (All black on black cars, I've seen some white grilles on white cars, etc...)

There are a several replacement grilles but most look like crap...Admiration makes a "mesh" type grille but it sticks out a lot...looks ok from the front angles, but from the side, it looks kinda dumb...

They also make another grille that looks pretty good, but it's only for the UCF20/21 MC After LS...

Here's a couple of pictures...

The first LS (a UCF10/11) has a Wald body kit, blacked out grille, and some "eyelids" (by the grille). I don't know who sells those "eyelids"...I've only seen it in the pictures...

The second LS is actually from a Lowenhart LD-1 ad...it's the Admiration kit with the Admiration grille (they make a couple so make sure you order the right one!)...again, it's only for the UCF20/21 MC After LS's...

No...I think a black grille looks best on any color. I had a silver car with a all black chrome grille and people loved it. Makes the car look meaner too

 

Is it wise to spray paint the grill white?

 

Spray paint? Uh, don't do a ghetto *** job like that. Take it to a body shop, have them strip the chrome off, prep it (sand it), and then have them spray on the same color as your car and then clear coat it. Do it right...

 

How much do you think a job like that would Cost?

How about a fully chrome painted job?
