There was a question on my local board so here it is:
I guessed it had something to do with the parking sensors? But then again, I really have no idea what it could be. It doesn't help that she didn't give the year, but I told her I'd try to find out anyways...

Is there a picture of the gauge cluster with all the lights on that I could get ahold of? Or if someone wants to tell me real quick what that symbol represents that would be great too!

MeanLex is correct. It's probably a brake light bulb that burned out.

So that would mean that the lights still wouldn't operate, if there was a short...

Since all the lights operates, apparently, I guess she's just stuck with an annoying little problem, but at least it's not a problem that is serious!

When does the light come on? When you press teh brakes? or when you turn on your parking lights? That should steer you closer to your problem. Also, lots of people forget to check the 3rd brake light.
