'99 LS400...60k...When the steering column auto retracts, after removing the ignition key, there is a noisy, heavy friction like, buzz/humm from the column. No noise when column tilts up. The noise is when column retracts towards dash...like something needs to be lubricated.

Did a Search here at CL and found nothing that addresses this specific steering wheel/column issue.
