Default 1990 LS400 Help check engine

Well here it is i got a 1990 lexus ls400 original owner with only 94,000 miles.... but my problem is that my check engine light and trac light come on and off somtimes.. i took it to LEXUS they said theres nothing wrong with it... the car runs fine does anyone know what the problem is PLease HELP i just cant stand the CEL And trac Light... and the funny thing is it only happens somtimes but i get it twice or three times a week.

do this lovely little thing called SEARCHING and u will find ur answer. this is a common problem with the first gen cars.

sorry guys i found the links but some people say tps (what is that anyway )
and some people and o2 sensor and other people say diff things can some one please tell who has gotten this fixed thanks

tps = throttle position sensor

There is no sense in guessing what the problems are when the trouble codes are there waiting to be taken. Do yourself a favor and learn how to extract the CEL codes.

mines had the same problem worlds dirtiest air filter and air flow sensor was slightly unplugged kicked mines off
