there is a "power" button...obviously for added power...so does having it on all the time affect my gas milage?
and the "shift overlock"----now whats this interesting button do?

Having the "power" switch on will only minimally affect your gas milage, if at all. I leave mine on all the time and get 18-20 mpg. As for the shift lock over ride it is what it says it is. I used it once when my car was stuck in park. I pushed in the button and put the car in gearthat was the only time I used it.
