I have a 1995 LS400 and need to replace the CD changer in the dash. The new unit is in transit to me now. How difficult a job is this?

Hey bud, I have a 1st gen. LS so can't help you personally....but, did you do a search in the Lexus Audio forum in the Lexus Special Interest forums. I tried plugging in "replace changer" and it pulled up quite a few hits. But, I don't know whether any would specifically answer your Q.

It is not a big deal at all.

I put one in a 96 that did not have the CD changer option & it was not that diificult. Should be even easier when the dash kit is already installed.

The CL member named Lexus Audio should be able to help if you need directions. He sent some along with the changer I purchased from him. His real name is Gus Mancey.
