Default My new 98 with pics+sound HIR bulbs,JIC,L-sportline,intake,clear corners,

I will be spending some more time over here now.
I just bought this car last week and have already gone to New Jersey last weekend. It is amazing and so smooth but rolls like hell in corners.
The gas milage is not that bad ,it takes $70 to fill with premium and i get about 600km a tank so far.
It actually took me 8 hours to Jersey on 3/4 of a tank so about $50.
I think it will be a toy for me shortly even if it is for my wife.
Already have an L-sportline exhaust and am probably going to get the kit also.
Also installed my JIC SF-1 suspension , the front needs to come up a bit though as it is too low.
Have a wood shifter alerady sanded and waiting for the steering wheel to match. Also got new Lexus mats to freshen up the interior.

Got a set of Lsportline 19's which i intend on putting on as soon as i get them.

It is a rare colour for me as i have never seen an LS that looks silver but with a hint of green. It is called silver jade mettalic or something.

Already changed the HVAC filter witht eh most expensive filter hta homedepot sells rather than waste the money on the LEXUS oem one. CLeaned the maf and seafoam in the gas for the ride home.
Other than that have not done a thing and i doubt i will as it is a dealer maintained car with 250 000km for some cars that is alot but this baby doesn;t even show it. Their is not even one leak under it.

Only issues are it
Needs a new left outer taillight
R side mirror as the dimming section has fogged
Some new corners to reclear.

Well here is some pics

after lowering and the exhaust

shot of the rear

Stance looks good on it >Should go nice with those wheels too. That is a rare color. I have only seen one here and it belongs to a friend. That color is really unique. It almost seems to change colors depending on the lighting.Good luck with the car man.Post pics when you get the wheels on.

Looks good man, really liking the clear corners. Do you really have to open it up? or can you just break the orange part from the inside?

Thanks
Originally when i went to clear the corners i tried pressing in the orange lens.
It worked and broke right off.
Problem is i couldn't get a hold of the damn thing with my extra long needle nose pliers.
I got small peices of it broken apart but not enough to get it out.
After a while i realised i was scratching the chrome finish inside the light so i attempted to bake them to release the plastic seal. Problem is they were sealed with acrylic not silicon like headlights. So they cracked instead of seperating, worst part was the left and right sides were different in manufacturing so one had a lip it joined and the other was a flush fit glued.
A real pain in the **** ,so that is why i was to get a new set and cut the inside wall open to remove lens by having an opening to pull them out. This way i can seal it back perfectly with no damage to the outer casing.

thanks again. especially coming from someone with such a nice beater.
Being gratefull has never been a better way to be a post ***** to up my count. lmao

Funny enough as it is going to be my wifes car it is going to be a beater as well.

I thought it was also just a rare colour for Toronto but it seems most people have not seen it much either.

BTW , has anyone ever made or installed an intake for the newer LS400?

I just finished making one this afternoon and it sounds amazing now , since the stock snorkel is so restrictive.

Well, Jbrady modified his intake, and had some promising results.
