Newbie Help
Hi I was hoping you can help me.
I've used the search function and I have come up empty handed.
I just recently bought a 1991 LS400. The car is great!
I had two questions.
Has anyone hardwired their ipod to the stock pioneer hu. (no cd)
my steering wheel has started to fall apart on me. is there a solution to fix it? *a chunk of leather has fallen off at the top*
thank you for all your help!

My old 91 LS had chunks of leather missing from the wheel - they seemed to co-incide with my wedding ring finger, so I reckon the previous owner must've had some serious jewellery. I never bothered doing anything to replace the leather - I put it down as "character"...

I put a leather steering wheel cover over the chunked out steering wheel. Came out pretty nice but it was one nearly impossible task, I struggled for at least an hour with it. And i'm 6'4 and bench 300 lbs +. It took all my strength to cover that wheel.

well all steering wheel covers are hard to get on unless you want fur with a spandex backing. Suprisingly pep boys has some oem look real leather covers for under 20 easily. Thats where i got mine.
