After replacing both headlights in my brothers 1st gen LS, one headlight's highbeam still does not work. Before replacing the headlights, neither highbeam worked, but the old light on the side of the car with the headlight that is still not working did not have a broken filament... which makes me wonder what else could be causing the highbeam not to work.... is there a right and left highbeam fuse? or could there be something wrong with the connector. TIA

 

the bulb you put in was it a dual hi/low beam bulb?

 

Correct, the right side's highbeam works but not the left

 

Yes check your fuses.

 

hmm, im not familiar with the fuse locations on the ls.... would they be the ones shoved way the hell underneath the drivers side footwell?

 

and driver side in the engine compartment.

 

yeah, we took out the drivers side headlight and there were fuses under there, so I wasnt sure if they were sprinkled everywhere or what
