Default I think i have a problem

I just siphoned out my power steering fluid and put in regular synthetic power steering fluid. i know now that tranny fluid is used as power steering fluid in these cars like the benzes. Am i in trouble and should i drain out the old fluid and put in new dextron ATF. Im wondering if this will hurt my steering pump.
There should be a sign saying ATF on the cap or something.

Are you in serious trouble? Maybe not

Should you change it immediately... yes

Not necessarly, just do a few drain and refills till its red again. I found out someone put the clear powersteering fluid (lexus dealership before i owned it) and I've been driving it for some time, just switched it back, and the steering is great once again.
