Trying to find low pressure port for A/C
Hi,
My A/C is dying and I am trying to start by fixing the cheapest problems first, that meads adding some r1394.
The only problem is I cannot find the low pressure port. Does anyone know where it is?
THanks!
[I searched but found nothing]

Well the owner's manual won't have any information! Lexus owners aren't usually the type that service their own A/c (except for us lol)
I just got my car three days ago, but I have found two 'ports' on the A/c Lines.
One is at the back beside the engine on the Passenger Firewall. It has a Blue cap , The "cold" line??
The other is also on the passenger side just to the left of the radiator. It has a REd cap and I assume it is the "hot" line??

Take it to a professional for service. You are not a hvac tech stop trying to be one.
There is a reason it is low on R134A! and needs to be leak checked and fixed.
That requires guages, dry nitrogen, recovery machine, vacuum pump, micron gauge, etc.
Please dont go to walmart and buy r-134a fill it up and have it leak out and contribute to the green house effect.
Thank you

People rather put it in themselves, then take it into a shop that will charge 100 bucs, plus tell them all these thigns wrong with their compressor.... bill climps in upwords of $1000 bucs, because mechanics loves to tell you that you need a new compressor
Thats why people rather just pay 10bucs every year to fill up thier compressors.
