Default 1st Gen. Gear Shift Cover

Anyone make a cover for the gear shift of the 1st gen LS4's that is easy to put on? Mine is starting to come apart at the seams.

TIA, Macc

I know Super Autobacs USA carries one, but they're online store isn't running yet. You may want to check back periodically to see if it's up.

Give carsontoyota a call.... they got me the OEM shift **** (cover) for about 100-110. replacing it was really easy and looks great.

I searched every where for this and didn't find anywhere except american stitch and they were charging something like 60-75 for restich. if you are looking for aftermarket then look for one with OD. I think sunobim1 had one for sale...... That was my second choice if the OEM did'nt worked.

It's OEM, so it looks just like the old one even the same color just new. make sure you ask fro OEM when you call carson toyota because they even sell some aftermarket ones also on their website.

i still dont understand.. you mean they send you the leather? or some sort of cover that goes over the original leather? is on their site? because the only ones i see are by TRD, and they dont look like they'd fit the 1st gen LS

They don't have OEM on their website........ they don't send any cover the send whole shift **** without any switches(OD and pust buttom to change the gear) you simply takeout the old one (screw in back) and raise the shift **** up and unscrew one more inside the **** which will release the cover. basically what you get is a hollow leather cover which you replace with the old one.

let me know if you have any more questions.
