Default Crown Athlete UCF10 conversion?

First off all I dont even have an LS400, I want one very badly , but I dont have one yet.. I want to get a UCF10 and throw on the UCF31 or UCF21 face, but then I saw the Crown Athlete, since this is also a toyota luxry sedan, I don't think it would be too hard, unless the car was considerably narrorwer or shorter, if it was built on the LS chassis it shoulld be do-able..
What do you think? Look the same?? Sorta??

compare to

if anyone has some good pics of each to compare, thow them up here :P.
It looks like the Athelete has almost the same fender as the LS400, but I am pretty sure it's different so, cutting it a fiberglassing it half way down will probably be necessary. The headlights look almost the same. I love the grill and hood. but I will need to do more research, also anyone here have some VIP mags with this conversion?

Also what ever happened to the Toyota Volta?? (click NO to the annoying popups! and "X")

Default Newest crown based onLS430 chassis?

from what I see they took the 430 and gave the front fenders a wierd curve , new grill and new headlights... The tail lights look almost the same!

Front CROWN

Front CROWN

Front UCF31

rear CROWN

Interior CROWN

Interior UCF31

The interior is different, near the central center console vents, this sorta scares me, I hope that is just a redeigned dash for the Crown, and not a totally different chassis.

Note how they are almost the same?? If this is true, then I have seen UCF31 parts on the UCF10, of course the trunk line wasn't matching the new angled tail lights, but it still looked good, just went straight then angled once it met the break in the tail lights. I like the newest crown a lot, it wouldn't be hard to get the parts used, just time and bodyshop money.. Once it was finished it would look nice, especially since no one here has a crown, it would have that head turning "skyline" rarity factor to it.

Now why don't they make an LS like that and consider it like the AMG version of Mercedes? Sounds like a winner to me!

I’m not sure they are on the same chassis? They seem like they are on the Avalon chassis.

Actually I think you're right. They don't look as wide as the LS I just noticed. The rear looks like the new GS if you ask me. I believe the GS and the avolon are on the same chassis (The NEWER ones), but I could be wrong. The older ones I know had to be different.

Edit that before the GS guys read it

The GS doesn’t share the Avalon chassis, not sure about the new ones though (06+) if that’s what you meant.

But they seem to be more inline with the Avalon/GS chassis then that of the LS.

The LS seems wider, dont you think? oh wait.. lol, thats what you just said in your post

Yea I should have put in what I meant. They look real close in length and width. But Toyota probly wants to make an individual chassis instead of one that fits 4 of 5 vehicles (COUGH GM COUGH).

Man that Crown looks awesome! I agree with TJW98LS, they definately should make a AMG Version of the LS and make it look like the crown edition, with that awesome front grill and embelem.

How do you think it would look to have the badge in the back say LS4 and then have the Crown logo after that. Kinda like LS4($)

It might look cool, but sometimes the back of a car has enough emblems already. Maybe someone could photoshop it for us.
