??93 LS400 with no CD changer??
Curious.... was looking at an LS4 the other day and noticed that it did not have a CD changer? Also the radio did not have the buttons for the changer...
It did have wires hanging in the passenger side of te trunk and one was the plug type used for CD changers??
Did all 93's come with changers? IS the wiring there for all LS's and just plug and play if u buy the changer and headunit?
Just surprised .....
BTW.... Heard some light whining while turning the wheel. Is that a sign of power steering pump or power steering rack?

Must have been a swap. My LS originally did not come with a changer and there is NO wiring in the trunk for a changer.
The changer was still an option in 93.
Your whining noise could be either.....check for leaks in both locations.
