1990 LS 400 Trunk Problem

For some reason, my LS400's trunk won't open anymore. I tried to use
the key and the trunk switch inside the car but it will not open.

Does anybody know how to fix this?

Try checking the trunk lock under the parking break release latch...it's the keyhole in between the trunk release and gas cap release. Just stick the key in, turn and see if the button depresses.
