Default Question about Traction Control, ABS, and Tires

I have 2 new extra 235/60-16 tyres from my MB S420 which I am thinking about putting on my 1995 LS400 on the rear. The fronts will remain at the OEM size 225/60-16. So there is a size/diameter difference between the front and back. My car has Traction Control and of course ABS. My question is this: How do these safety systems react when they sense that the rear wheels are turning slower than the front ones all the time? Will the brakes activate on the front to keep them in sync with the rears? Will the traction control be confused? Any ideas? I understand that the best thing to do is wait until the fronts wear out as well, and then replace all of them with the 235/60-16. Any help is appreciated. Please help as I need to put 2 new tyres on the rear quickly.

Come on, some of you chaps running a staggered setup should be able to provide some insight into this. If anyone is running a wider tyre on the rears while keeping the aspect ratio the same, please help.

Thanks LOTC.
well, I read several posts from people with staggered setups and many are running 225/35-20 front, and 245/35-20 rear, some are running 235/50-18Fand 245/50-18R, and nobody has complained. So I guess, my setup should be OK as well. Thanks.
