The lowering looks great on your '99. What color is your LS? I know LS is one of the few Lexus models with a zillion different color codes
Is that your old LS sitting next to your '99?

Awsome car... I'm jeolous cause I wish I had Navigation. When I was looking for mine I did not find one car that came anywhere close to my criteria with Navigation. Actually I think I only found one on eBay motors and it had tons of miles. That is one Rare cool car...

You guys are making a mistake to be so negative about NOT having NAV. Go get a Garmin unit for under $1000. I have BOTH (Lexus in dash and Garmin ON dash/portable) and the Garmin is better and portable to boot. Buying a non-NAV car is not a big deal.

Hey you have peeked my curiosity. Other than portability why is it better than the Lexus nav. I am reserching buying my wife a brand new '05 car and thinking Nav is a must. Are you saying you really like the Garmin over your indash?

Yes, I am saying that exactly. And here is why:
1. The Garmin is portable. I can pack it in a camera bag and use it when I fly/rent. Which, by the way, is when you need it most. Not to go to the local grocery story.
2. The Garmin can be programmed so that you DO NOT have to stop the car to use it. The Lexus unit is a PIA because you cannot chose destinations "on the fly". That, in itself, is a HUGE reason I don't like the Lexus unit.
3. The Garmin unit seems to have better maps, even compared to the latest Lexus "update" (a recall that I had done). The Lexus unit STILL shows houses as being a block away from the actual location.
I will say that if you are buying a brand new $60,000 ANYCAR today, it would probably be foolish NOT to get it with built in NAV. Sort of like buying a luxury car with cloth seats. It reduces resale value even though YOU PERSONALLY don't like leather.
So if you are going to get wifey a new ride ANYWAY, then I would still get it with Lexus NAV. BUT I would not buy a new car BECAUSE I wanted a Lexus NAV.
