Default moving knock sensors' for more power

i know you can put something on the knock sensor or move it so it isnt as sensitive aka retard timing for less power but has anyone tried/done this on a 1uzfe or lexus before?

thanks

If you can do this why would you want to. I mean knocking is detonation and detonation is harmful to the engin.

Well two things come to mind, the sensor has no effect on timing if the car is not detonating, so you dont loose anything under normal circumstances as far as I know.l

Second Lexus expects the car to run with 93 octane, at least in my manual it specificed premiums I think it was 91 and above, so with this expectation they still felt that the knock sesnor was important. This means that even with the 93 you can still get detonation niot to mention the occasional bad gas, dirty fukle filter or air filter or bad spark plugs that could sneak up on you and if you ever go FI then it rally becomes a concern trust me..
