Electronic Air Suspension on a 1991 LS-400; Is anyone having problems with the air suspension on their cars? At time of purchase, this $1500 option is now costing me over $5500 to repair over the years. EACH air shock is between $700 and $1000 and there are 4 of them not including another 3 to 4 major components. I've heard that this air suspension wasn't a very good concept and it is not being offered currently. Anyone have any thoughts? How can Lexus charge so much for this ill conceived, trouble prone system?

At any rate, DON'T BUY AIR SUSPENSIONS ON ANY CAR. IT IS NOT WORTH IT ! It doesn't do much good and it is very expensive to repair!!!!!! I am trying to get a group together to protest the high replacement cost of this option.

My new LEXUS LS400 year 1999 has problems, vibrations and bad dimming at the AIR-SUSPENSIONS from the first day.

These terrible noices are very clear and create allarm also for passer-by!

My Lexus LS400 don't keep the direction and turns towards right 5-6 meters every 100 meters.

Toyota-Lexus Italy tried to say that is NORMAL! for Lexus Quality: confused:
