Recently, I found a website that describes how to change or clean headlights. It involves heating the headlihgt unit to 250 degrees F and the glue then is pliant enought to separate the lense from the headlight body and it can be changed or cleaned. My main concern is the bubble levelers in the headlight body--will this heat damage them? Do any of you have experience with this. My '96 LH headlight has a chip in it and I bought a good lense from a seller on Ebay and would like to replace the chipped lense with the good one. Thanks for any help you might be able to provide.
