well i posted this in the general LS forum, with no response so maybe i'll get one here.

i just ordered a conical filter with maf adapter (waiting on arrival).......my question is how loud is this thing at WOT with this V8, alsa any noticable HP gains.

 

i to did purchase a aftermarket intake....it gives a really noticable throttle response..but cant really tell if any horse power gains....but when you hear this intake suck in air at WOT....its a very nice sound.....i think the sound of the intake breathing is even louder then the sound of the motor it self.....bad part about it for me is that it fawked up my car....it does that jerking and shuts off over long periods or driving.....im thinking of putting my stock intake back on....
