hey chuckchung, you said you have a Tokico and Eibachs, that is the set up I am looking for, did you go with the 1-1 drop? Please advise. Also I think I may have the stock air struts in back does that effect my choice options or if I do complete shocks struts and springs does it even matter? Please help me out! Any LS400 1st gen owners give me your advice MY CAT NEEDS TO BE LOWERED BAD!!!

if ur going with springs go with tanabe. they offer the lowest drop for springs, lower than eibach and h&R, i think eibach is discontinued for the ucf10. and yeah, if u get new struts and springs ur pretty much doing away with ur air sus. i maybe getting air bags or coilovers soon. so i'll definately put my suspension up on the classifieds. i have kyb shocks and tanabe springs. soooo much better than oem i love the ride.

i highly recomend tanabe springs and kyb shocks

keep in mind that tanabe springs are also the SOFTEST springs available, so dont count on the handling improving AT ALL.

eibach is discont. for both the UCF1x and UCF2x cars, but h&r is still available.

for your second gen? Bilsteins are a great choice for a mild lowering/stiffening
plus you get adjustable perches to go even lower if you want....

Bumping this since we have many new LS400 owners who are modding their suspensions. I'll merge prior suspension discussions into this one except those that are in member build threads.
Let's get this one rolling again with updated input.

I just re-did the entire suspension, with OEM Lexus parts and H&R performance springs. I originally had air suspension, and converted to Megan EZ's, now back to OEM.

Ive been reading threads on how bad ksport coilovers are in every car forum I have belonged to for as long as I can remember. IMO stay away, they are cheap crap. Honestly don't remember anyone saying how happy they were. Budget coils are usually not a great way to go IMO. I'm personally skeptical of the Meagan's, BC's, ksport, and those new yellow dps coils based solely on price and the fact that the VIP look is so popular. With a huge drop the car is going to ride like crap anyway so who cares how good the coils really are.

BC racing off the shelf with 14k/10k custom ordered spring rates. YouZealand SS front kit. MKIV Supra TT front strut bar. Fresh OEM strut rods to be installed...

Satisfied so far, only a couple months old. I still have to play with adjustments more. I feel they ride better than the Megan EZ's in my bro's 95'. Noticibly stiffer and more controlled on my BC's although he is max low on his EZ's. Other factors also contribute...
