Tough question.

Why would anyone waste time and money putting bodykit on his car or new allows ? I wanna be different. I have some spare time and money. I spend it the way I want

How many white LS400 in Australia with same taillights as mine ? None (with 99.999% probability)
How many while LS430 in USA - thousands

Just my point of view - no offence

POV
My point of view on the subject of WHY...

For many people the car is an extension of them. Since most people want to be individuals and not like the next guy, everyone has defining characteristics that make them unique. This concept can probably hold true for the car. Individualizing your car is no different that wearing a colorful tie. Not a big deal, not offensive, just a way to express oneself.

Now, another idea would be that some stock items on the car just don't look good and you found something aftermarket that you believe is more appealing or attractive. Again, personal taste.

Cheers.

These lights are the good option for white/silver car (if you want get rid of amber). Looks cleaner than stock lights. Styling is personal thing as any mod

I got my tailligths from Crossroad here is Link

I think its nice but it to me it looks better on dark colored cars. If I was to do the clear lights I would only do the outside lenses.

I just ordered this for my gold car. Can anyone tell me how red is the center part (inner tail light) by the reverse, with the bulbs they send? WHat is the part number

Also how do I make the turn signal orange, part number?

^They do look better on dark colored cars. Thats why i have them on mine too, dark silver. The pink looking bulbs for the inner are annoying. Im thinking about getting some led bulbs for mine pretty soon.

just a note, i have 99 LS with stock tails and i photoshopped the picture and the orange looked red. Aerotect does all that overlay stuff but nothing to match the stock red lense. I'm thinkin this might look good all red or all red except the reverse section??

i've got change for your 2 cents
