I have a 93' Lexus LS400, and my windshield washer does not work anymore. The ones for my headlights work, but when I press the button(located on the right side of steering column off the wiper lever) to activate the washer fluid, the wipers just move and nothing is coming out. And of coarse the washer fluid tank is topped up. So anybody experience this problem? or how much will it cost to obtain and have the motor replaced and where it is located under the hood? Anything I should look at first to remedie the situation? (under the hood or under the driver side dash for fuses, relays, etc...) before it will be taken to the dealrship.

Washer pump is # 10 in the picture. It's located on the side of washer tank.
It is $28.00
You cn buy it HERE.
Before you go changing it, make sure that it gets power and that your washer fluid is not frozen in the nozels.
Good luck.

When pressing the washer button, do you hear the washer pump engage? If you do, then it can also be that your squirters are clogged from wax or something. Or like SharpLS-96 said a blockage in the water lines. If you don't, your pump is out.
How do you replace the hose that runs from the hood hinge to the winshield washer pump on a 98 LS 400? The hose leaves the washer pump and goes behind the fender well. I am not sure if you should attack the problem from the top or bottom of the car? Can you just join a new hose to the hose at the hood hinge and pull it through to the pump?
