Default Strut bar w/air suspension

Hello Everyone,
I am wondering if the TRD strut bar for the supra would fit a 90 LS400 with air suspension. I am seriously contemplating purchasing one as the suspension on the LS is extremely soft even with sport mode and the 205/65/15 tires do not help the massive understeer. I need to know if it will fit and if so, with what modifications. Thanks. LS_4Will. Happy New Year.

Lexkost,
I am looking at the same stut bar on ebay. It's cheap enough, but I wonder if it's worth the hasle
Did you notice any change after you installed the strut bar?
Also, can you post specks of that ring you made, namely inside and outside diameter and how thick it is.
Thanks.

The I.D. is 4" the O.D.is 6 5/8" the stud hole are 1/2 wide by 5/8 long and fabracated out of 1/4 thick aluminum plate................Or PM me and I will send you a template

When installing you must put tension on the bar to inturn apply that tension to the struts.......And yes you can feel a much tighter steering and less steering wheel movement over bumps...........MIKE

Thanks Lexkost for your replys. Is there any specific company I should be looking for? Will there be enough thread left because it looks like there isnt enough room for a spacer and strut bar bracket. Does anybody know a cheap machine shop in the bay area that can machine the spacer correctly? Thank You. LS_4Will.

LS_4Will, When will you be installing the bar?...............If I get the time I could make a pair for you I have some material left from the last pair I made...........Remember when buying the bar it should be an adjustable Supra TT bar with a slight bend on the ends of the bar.............................MIKE

No it will not fit! The dust cover that sits over the a/s struts in the engine bay is too high for the strut bar.

I'm not so sure about that. There is important hardware underneath that can't take any dust. What I'll do is take the cover off to verify and more pics to go with that.
