Long story but I have a 1997 that was sitting for pretty much 2 years because I couldn't find anyone to fix a leak I had in the crank shaft seals (it was leaking bad bad)
got it back on the road and ran fine all day with 2 year old gas might I add. There was about a quarter tank left and I read that I could just fill it up with new gas and it will be fine, so thats what I did.
New gas, straight to car wash, its back on the road....
went in the house for a few hours and when I came back to make a run, few miles into the drive, CEL is on and Trac off is flashing and its kinda sputtering and there is a noise coming from by the fan/timing belt.
Code from autozone is P0308 and I feel like just one spark plug going out seems fishy? Could it be something else before I start taking it apart? I replaced them all a couple months before i took it off the road 2 years ago. Could it just be the old gas running its course?
I used the search bar and all the threads tend to be multiple misfires and not specifically just this one. Car has about 144K miles if that means anything.
What condition is the battery in? A battery sitting under the hood unused, discharging for two years without being connected to a maintainer would be highly suspect in my book.

brand new battery. That’s a longer story in itself but I had to get one just to even get it out of the backyard lol.
i would double check your spark plug wires to make sure they are seated properly. it might be worth unseating and reseating them into the tubes. also check the wires to the ignition coils.
when was the last time the caps and rotors were replaced? that's another source, but if the spark plugs themselves are an unknown, it's worth replacing first before tackling the caps/rotors.

welp, I’m back, seemed simple enough, the spark plug was shot. We are back, engine light is off…..
but
this issue that sounds like it’s coming from the fan didn’t go away, sounds like maybe it’s rubbing against something but I can’t figure that out…. I have a video I took a few days ago where I was unsure of the AC compressor and what it was doing.
and also, the start of all of my problems is back… oil is leaking again….. just great 😂😂😂
