Hey guys, I recently picked up a 93 ls400 non running and driving, previous owner said it was a fuel issue, he installed a fuel pump and still didnt run, i did some research and found out these have a fuel pump ecu and i found a way to bypass it by jumping a wire i saw on youtube and the car ran with a horrendous misfire. Replaced spark plugs and wires, and car stopped misfiring, but i noticed the car doesnt have the power like a v8 its super super sluggish cold or warm. Just trying to figure out if this is common? Surprisingly no cel on. While in park it will idle and can rev with no issue but when in drive and trying to move its like its running on 4 cylinders.

 

Its hard to know exactly whats going on unless someone is under the hood and running tests, without testing and diagnosing its just a guess from this point.
