Lexus LS400 occasionally stalling
Looking for some advice from the hive mind.
My one owner 1990 LS400 has started to occasionally stall out while driving. This has not happened to me but has happened to my wife about 10 times. Once in a mall parking lot, once or twice on secondary or tertiary roads and a number of times on the interstate. She says it just looses power and stalls. It starts right up again after a moment or two at rest. It seems to be getting more frequent, but can go a week without issue. Something happened to me for the first time this weekend. Car seemed to hesitate at 45 miles an hour. Shifted to neutral and noticed rpm dropping and hunting for a moment. Revved the engine in neutral it hesitated for a moment and responded, shifted back into gear and car ran as expected. Car idles between 600-800 rpm.Car starts up easily. There are no codes at present, although a week ago trouble lights came on at start up. Shut car down and restarted and trouble lights went out. Checked trunk hinge, looks OK. New alternator, newish plugs and wires, cleaned throttle body. Haven't checked the fuel pump yet but the one that is in it has over 120,000 miles. First one lasted 120,000 miles so maybe that is it. I have not checked capacitors, but am not sure that it is that because of the very intermittent nature, no odd behavior and no trouble lights..

Well, I mean, not a bad time to test the ECU. It's a miracle it lasted this long if it hasn't been repaired
