Default Rear shock bumper for UCF20

Collecting parts to replace shocks all around. I want to replace the insulators and bumpers (rubber pcs) as well. However, I cannot find the bumpers for the rear. P/N 48341-50010. Everything online seems to show out of stock (Partsouq, Amayama, Bell Lexus, etc..). LexusPartsNow will let me order (at a high price abt $65 for 2 plus tax and shipping) but I think after I place the order I'll eventually get a msg saying "out of stock" just like every place else. Also found a site called Black Hawk Japan that will let me order and it's about $45 shipped from Japan for 2. Never used Black Hawk Japan - anybody have any experience with them? And the real reason for this post... anyone found a suitable substitute for the OEM part here? Or maybe there's a superseding part number I haven't found? I've searched, haven't found any discussions on this.

I'm sure you came across this in your search. But some people hate KYB anymore.

Looks like the KYB bellows kit comes with the bumper you're looking for? - just throw away the bellows.

Thanks. Yeah, I did see that. I'm a little afraid of "you get what you paid for" since they are so much less than the oem. Or maybe I'm just programmed to believe the more it costs, the better it is. Have you tried these? How do they compare to the oem in quality? If I can't find something suitable I'll inspect the ones on the car and put them back in if still in good shape. Don't want to have to pull them off again if they fail quickly. Especially the rears.

You have three choices:
  1. Use what ever new parts are available.
  2. Re-use the existing parts.
  3. Wait for NOS parts to show up, knowing that the rest of the car will most likely die before you find them. It took +10 years for me to find synchro rings for the Legend. Got lucky when an NOS Honda set showed up on ebay.
I installed KYB bumpers when I did the struts on the Legend. This was back in 2004 and 103k miles ago. To date, no complaints.
