a couple months ago the airbags deployed off a pothole and completely blew the bass, i had to turn it all the way down or it would crackle and pop, i bought a replacement sub, it fixed the crackling and i can now have the bass all the way up but nothing comes from the sub, the only bass is from the door speakers, so i unplugged the new sub and it sounds the same with no crackling either, did i just get a bad new sub?

 

Can you plug in the old sub just to test that the line from the amp to that speaker still works, crackling and all?

 

i dont have it anymore but i tested the connection with a multimeter and its getting voltage
