Default Charging help

I’m missing something simple and could use some assistance.

1998, old alternator was starting to head out, not charging into the 14s. Replaced with an auto zone, I know, then I had a parasitic drain that I believed was due to that bad decision. Bought a replacement lexus and was going to swap, I broke the pigtail. Replaced with another pigtail and now I get no charging at all.

the 120 fuse is good.
continuity on the power wire on the alternator to where it connects by the fuses.
key on, power matches between the battery and the power wire at the alternator.
the I thought perhaps my pigtail wasn’t good. 7.2v at all three pins with the key on.

I have checked all the fuses for continuity under the hood, all fuses good. When I start the car it will drop down into the 11.x volts, the battery will gain some back after I shut he car off, back over 12.4 or so. I have not ran it much, checking the voltage with a multimeter.

what am I missing and thanks in advance.

First off, trying to diagnose any electrical problem with a battery that's not in a full state of charge won't give you any meaningful data.

Before you replaced the old alternator, where you having a charging or other electrical problems?

yes, the first alternator change was because the alternator wasn’t charging at the correct voltage, first noticed while using a Bluetooth obd and phone app. Checked with multimeter and voltage was verified.

messed up and bought an autozone alternator, was charging correctly, 14.x volts, but we developed a parasitic drain.

like I said in the OP, had to replace the pigtail, new rebuilt Lexus alternator isn’t charging at all.

when you replaced the pigtail, did you splice it back in, or did you replace the entire harness? if the former, i would check your splices since those wires are pretty thick and needs to be solid.
