Default Blast Expo @ Autobahn CC

Anyone hear of the blast expo? Apparently its some sort of 2 day, introduce the public to racing type of event. Its going on this Saturday and Sunday @ Autobahn CC.

Anyways, the event isnt as good as some of the free Audi or Benz events I have done there in the past, but may be entertaining to say the least. The only thing im interested in is possibly autocrossing an IS-F or C63. Its $25, as well, id like to hit up their karting track.

Check it out.

Yeah, the wife and I will be there tomorrow so long as it doesn't rain. And if it does rain we'll go Sunday instead. If I have it right pre-registration was highly recommended it you wanted to drive your own ride on the track which would cost $50 on top of the entrance fee of $25 per person. Autocross, Hot Laps, & Karting are $25. And of course if you didn't pre register your chances of doing anything other than watching might be slim. But of course I feel that's said to imply a sense of urgency (and sell those tickets), I mean book your fun event. Anyway, I'll be in the Starfire Pearl 07 GS430 with 18inch Excel Ennio's in Hyper Dark finish. And yes, I plan on taking this on the track. Peace...

When I checked there were 10+ spots open for the auto-x on sunday for almost every time slot. Im not interested in driving my car there, I can do that any time. What I am interested in is driving one of their "performance cars."

The way I understand it is, if you are bringing your own car to "hot lap" you have to follow a pace car i.e. no fun.

Regardless, Im going to probably sign up for the auto-x and rip up some cars.
