Default tailight, driving light problem

I have 98 style lights in my 96 they worked fine for a while now, i just noticed that the drivers side one does not light up at night(driving lights), only brake lights. I took the rear lights apart today, the bulbs are all good, and i didn't see any fuses blown, not to mention i don't think there is one fuse for each side? I checked these by swapping the bulbs over from each side. The passenger side driving lights work fine. I also swapped out that yellow box on the drivers side a while ago, so that could be it? Any ideas or input would be appreciated.
