Default FOGS on with parking lights

I still want to do this for my 1st gen GS and I assume all the 1st gen cars are the same with the fog switch on the turn signal arm. Any new ideas out there? I believe overseas there is a fog button that allows them to be on whenever so I think that rules out a euro-switch swap like you can do for other cars (VW models).

What about just modifying the switch so the fog circuit is engaged with the parking lights on instead of JUST the headlights on. Anyone taken the switch apart on the arm or know how to do it?

I'll be the guinea-pig if someone can just tell me how to disassemble the arm without breaking it.

Ok, thanks. I see what he did. I can do that too but I will need the wiring diagram for the headlights to do it. I can just tap into the wires under the steering wheel. Good idea...I just want mine on with the parking lights, though, not on by themselves otherwise I would forget and leave them on.

I think you got a bit confuse, I tapped my control relay to the ACC line, which mean that if I turn off the car, the fog will be OFFalso. All You need to do is to tap your control relay to the parking light, that is it.

what I did is universal, work for any car, just have to find the right wire to tap in, good luck.

Thus, what I did: the fog comes on/off anytime I want, and turn off by default if the engine is off, so i don't have to worry about turning off when I turn off the car. That should give you the same goal as what you want with the parking light, same thing.

Oops. Yeah I was kind of skimming through it. Thanks for correcting me before I messed it all up!
