removing the dome light

Default removing the dome light

The bulb in my dome light is burned out so i tried to get it out, but i cant seem to figure out how i remove the unit to get at the bulb. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

to just replace the bulb you just pop the plastic lens off and take the bulb out. you sorta have to use a thin flat head or something to wedge in there to pop it out. there are clips on all 4 sides so it's in there pretty good just need some force applied

ya just use like a flat head screwdriver and carefully nudge it out so you dont break it. Fairly simple.

Go to professional auto paint shop (or maybe home depot has 'em) and get a plastic bondo spreader and use that....screwdrivers can leave a nasty gouge in the plastic housing (around the lens)

It's kind of a pain to get out but not impossible...just be gentle...
