Hi,
I bought some 2002 headlights to go on my 98. I was told by the guy who sold them to me that they would fit fine. I called a dealer and they said they wouldn't. Considering it was a dealer who told me this, I figured I'd ask here to find out once and for all.
PS- I was also told I could use a blue lamp for front turn signals. Is this true?

i think they should. a lot of people have gotten the new headlight coz' of teh green tint

 

Are they HID replacements for a non-HID 98 GS ? If so, they will fit, but it's not simply plug and play, wiring must be stripped and crimped, and autoleveling is lost entirely, as the sensors for front and rear are installed at the factory. Otherwise, if you are simply installing newer lenses, either non-HID to non-HID or HID to HID, they'll go right in. I assume the dealer will say otherwise since they aren't getting paid for selling them or installing them. Look around, there is a DIY for this somewhere.

 

These are HID replacements for HID lights. It sounds like it is really plug and play. Is there anything I need to know if it is HID for HID?

i don't think there is anything you should worry. but i don't have hid headlight myself so i can't say 100% sure
