Default Repeat question: Are clear turn signals legal?

Hi,
I just got my new headlights and they have a clear lens for the turn signals. The guy I bought them from said I could use white lamps from PIAA. Are clear lights in a clear lens legal or do I need to use amber bulbs?
Thanks

i believe the turn signal must reflect some tone of amber.

right. I would definitely use amber bulbs just to avoid harassment from "The Man"

for the front turn signal it can be superwhite, that's legal, but you need to have an amber reflector somewhere. so on the GS, the turn signal could be white no problem but you need to keep the amber reflector on the bumper to stay legal.

for the rear, you don't need to have any amber reflector but at least you need to have either an amber or red bulb

that's the rule for cali
